Rumours, False News and Disinformation in the Global South
A Grant from the National Institute for Humanities and Social Sciences will provide funding for a study on misinformation related to the Coronavirus and China. The study will commence in June 2020.
This work will build on ongoing research in the area of ‘fake news’ and misinformation in Africa. Results of the study will be included in a book (co-edited with Dani Madrid-Morales) to be published by Wiley-Blackwell in 2021.
